Cereal Research Communications, an international journal was launched at our company in 1973 and publishes original papers presenting new scientific results on breeding, genetics, physiology, pathology, quality & utilization and agronomy of wheat, barley, rye, triticale, oats, rice, maize and the most important pseudo-cereals. It is published in yearly volumes of four issues.
Our institution carried out the full process of publishing, including the edition, printing and mailing of the journal till 2007. Since that year, however, only the edition of the journal has been done by our institution, the publication and the distribution has been passed over to the responsibility of Akadémiai Publishing House, Budapest, Hungary. The online version of the journal is available on the website: www.akademiai.com.
Editor-in-Chief: Prof. János Pauk (since 2009); /preceeded by Prof. Zoltán Kertész (1993-2008) and the founder, late Prof. Zoltán Barabás (1973-1992)/.
The Editorial Board consists of distinguished scientists. The late Noble Prize Laureate Professor Norman Ernest Borlaug was the Member of the establishing Editorial Board. Famous professors, like R.A. McIntosh and J.F. MacKey (since 2009 the Member of the Senior Editorial Board) have been the Members of the Editorial Board of the journal from the start.
